Hi, and thank you for visiting our Webiste. We are a work in progress in more ways than one! My name is Nady and I am 29 years old. I got married to my husband Rob (a wonderful guy) in 2000. I am a professional pet groomer. My husband is a die maker at a local shop.
We got our very first pom 9 years ago. Seems like it was yesterday! Her name is Mitsou and she is the sweetest thing you will ever meet. Little did I know when we got Mitsou what she would mean to us. She was our "first child". At the time, we didnt know that conceiving a child would be difficult or in fact...impossible....so as time went on our doggies took a bigger and bigger place in our heart....After each failed fertility treatment came a new puppy. All were pets and we had no intention of getting involved with showing. Somehow, my love for my pets took me to a new level and desire to contribute to this wonderful breed.
We acquired our very first show pom in January 2003. He was quite a challenge as he was horrified of everything and needed a lot of socialisation. We worked with him and in July 2003 went to our first show. I realised then how much i really needed to learn. Between grooming a show pom and handling techniques...we had our work cut out for us. It was in March 2004 for that I put my very first championship on him. From our first show, i was hooked and knew i wanted to go further. I had this picture of what a show pom should look like in my mind and have been working my way towards that goal. We have come far in just one year, and things are looking up each time.
My start in the breed was far from glorious, but with time, patience and a lot of devotion...and help from nice breeders, i feel i am finally heading toward my goals. We want to thank everyone that has helped us in getting to where we are at today. It's not always been easy, but its been well worth it!
